On September 19th, Sean and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at AT&T park, cheering on the Giants! It was Cohen's first game, Landon's second. It was an unseasonably HOT day in the city: we wore shorts, slathered on the sunscreen, drank a ton of water, and hung as long as we could in the stands, before taking a stroll around the ballpark and checking out all of the fun activities they have for kiddos: slides, mini baseball, and more! The best part of the day had to be getting to hang out with Ali and Grady (who flew in from Boise for a special Mommy-Son weekend) and Auntie Becko, aka the Auntie with the coolest job ever! Becko treated us to tickets, club level access to beat the heat, and a bag full of Giants goodies & souvenirs! After the game, we got to check out the front office, where she works. All-in-all, it was an incredible day, with so many fun memories to cherish.

The Annual Family Photo at Bianchi (#7)
A few weeks ago, on our way down to Avila Beach for Labor Day Weekend, we made our annual pit-stop at Bianchi to take a family picture (here are a few of the early shots)! Not a bad shoot considering there are 2 boys to make smile, and we used our tripod and remote shutter! We are getting pretty good at this :)

Happy 1st Birthday, Cohen!
I've said this once, and I'll say it again: every year since Landon was born has gone by quicker than the last! This certainly hasn't changed since Cohen joined our family...this past year has been the most full, and fast yet! Hard to believe that our baby boy is already one! We celebrated with our friends and family, and many of Cohen's new buddies from school with a backyard "pool party". The weather leading up to his party was SUPER hot, so we erred on the side of caution on covered our backyard in tents to create shade for our little ones. Oddly, that Saturday was overcast and a little cooler, but I think everyone had fun!
Cohen is a walking, smiling, ray of sunshine. He brings so much happiness to our lives, and I just love the bond that is starting to form between him and Landon.

Labor Day Weekend in Avila Beach
Every year, the boys' school closes down on the Thursday & Friday before Labor Day weekend. It's a great excuse to take a vacation, and this year we teamed up with a few families, packed what felt like half of our house, and headed South to Avila Beach. We rented a townhome for 3 nights, and enjoyed lots of beach time, park time, and play time. On Saturday night, we even got to bonfire on the beach, and make s'mores. We celebrated Cohen's first birthday on Sunday with some cake before heading home. Avila Beach is such an awesome little town, I hope to back again and again.

A Greenwood Family First: Greenstick Fracture
On Friday afternoon, while I was flying across the Pacific Ocean on my way home from Japan, Landon, so excited to see his Dad on the school playground, performed a cartwheel (of sorts) down a hill, and took a bad fall onto his shoulder and head. Sean brought him home whimpering, and offered him some ice. When Landon moved to try to take off his shoes, he started crying. Sean took a look at his collarbone, and said he immediately knew it was broken. Sean face-timed with his friend, James, who is an ER doctor, and he confirmed: "it looks broken, you should take him to the ER". So, Sean and Landon took their first trip to the hospital together.
Sean said Landon was super tough at the hospital, and so brave. A few exams, a set of X-Rays, a Popsicle, and a sling later...and this big guy was discharged with instructions to rest, restrict movement, ice it, and see his pediatrician on Monday morning.
Needless to say, when Sean called me right when I landed at SFO, I was a bit of a wreck, but made it through customs and Friday night traffic surprisingly well to just beat them home.
Can't believe that Sean and I have made it a combined 66 years without ever breaking a bone...and our little LRG didn't even make it 4! Here's hoping the recovery is fast, and mostly painless (for us all).
