What a Catch!

After spending lots of time shooting the hoop and dribbling the soccer ball, I was glad to see Landon pick up the football tonight and want to practice his passing & catching. This kid cracks me up. Seriously, he entertains me hours a day...and can make me laugh & giggle like no one else. 

At least he smiles for us!

Thank goodness I have a great camera, and can happily capture my smiley, cheerful little boy, because if I had to rely on the twice a year preschool photographer...this is all I would have:

Living Up to His Name(sake)

We all know Landon lives up to his initials (LRG) as he is one of the biggest 18mo olds we know! But, as of late, our little man is really living up to his first name, too! As most of you know, Sean has loved the name Landon for as long as he's admired Landon Donovan (the US soccer star). Sean and I both grew up playing soccer, and continue to love the sport as adults. We are of course thrilled that Landon likes to "kick kick kick" and enjoys scoring "goal"s.

First up, here's some recent footage of Landon in the backyard actually dribbling a Size 5 ball. It was after this day (and seeing how heavy this big adult-size ball was) that we asked the Easter Bunny to bring Landon his very own Size 3 ball. Dribbling has become much easier thanks to the Easter Bunny.
