Tahoe Trip 2016

We braved the cold and snow to make our first family trip to Tahoe in the winter this January! We lucked out with great company (thanks for the cabin, Team Iverson) and awesome weather! It was sunny and mild during the day, which made for a ton of fun on the sledding hill! Landon really took to the snow, and enjoyed jumping, sliding, sledding, and attempting to make snowmen. Cohen was less interested and excited, so was happy to observe the white stuff from afar. It probably didn't help that he wouldn't keep his mittens on...the "white stuff" wouldn't sting your hands if you kept your gloves on, kiddo!

The Greenwoods (who usually avoid snow and winter stuff) totally survived this trip, and think we could make it an annual tradition :)

Road Trip!

Cohen preferred to observe the snow...not actually touch it!

We went for a few long walks in our neighborhood, hunting for small hills to sled on. So much fun with this big 4 year old boy!

Shhhh...there's a baby in my belly :)

PocTownBoys Annual Tradition Year 1 - Museum Trip

*** DISCLAIMER: This is a rare Sean post to the blog.  ***

I happen to be very close with the guys that I graduated high school with back in Lompoc. Back in high school, everyone would always comment on how we wouldn't be as close the older we got in life. I'm happy to report that as a group we have not let life get in the way of our friendships. We all still get together at least once a year for a trip sometime in the late spring, we have a non-profit foundation that we're just getting off the ground, and now (thanks to Christina Taylor), we are starting a yearly holiday tradition of doing a family oriented outing and reporting back to the group. This is my attempt at reporting the outing and sneaking in a blog post for the rest of Stace's followers.

For our first group family holiday report, we were to visit a Museum of our choice and report back individual memories and our top pictures for the day. We ended up visiting the Kennedy Space Center - Visitor's Complex (big thanks to Stace's dad, Jerry, for treating us to the day).

For those that do not know, Stace's dad, Jerry, has worked in the space industry/program her whole life. He used to work on the space shuttle when it was in service, and now works for the cutting edge company SpaceX. You might have heard of them as they have been in the news lately... Jerry took all his grand kids plus Stace and I on this Rocketman Adventure!

Yes, that's the real Atlantis Shuttle, and yes, Papa worked on it.

Landon really liked playing Rocketman in the exhibits.

Cohen really loved being able to be with his brother and cousins in the space station.
