Labor Day Weekend in Avila Beach

Every year, the boys' school closes down on the Thursday & Friday before Labor Day weekend. It's a great excuse to take a vacation, and this year we teamed up with a few families, packed what felt like half of our house, and headed South to Avila Beach. We rented a townhome for 3 nights, and enjoyed lots of beach time, park time, and play time. On Saturday night, we even got to bonfire on the beach, and make s'mores. We celebrated Cohen's first birthday on Sunday with some cake before heading home. Avila Beach is such an awesome little town, I hope to back again and again.

Firestones in SLO!
So, Landon inched closer and closer to this girl on the beach. This is as close as he got, then he mimicked her by laying the sand (something he's never done before). Sean and I are convinced that we caught him flirting for the first time. We are in for it.

Dancing at the Avila Farmers Market on Friday night!

Cohen is a typical second child...easy going, flexible, and naps on the go (thank goodness)!
