Kidz Love Soccer (Fall 2015)

This November, Landon wrapped up his second year of Kidz Love Soccer (Saturday morning skills & drills, led by coaches). We are so proud of our big boy: he's dribbling, passing, shooting, scoring, and, for the most part, staying on his feet! He's listening to his coaches, and really starting to learn the sport that Sean and I love so much. Next up...a real team, and real games! I can hardly wait!

A special moment: Coach Paul helping them learn that when their teammate scores, the whole team scores! He would ask: who scored that goal? (Landon!) What color jersey is Landon wearing? (Green) Raise you hand if you're on the Green Team! Did only Landon score that goal, or did the whole Green team help!? (The Green Team!). I may have teared up a bit. :)

He's cheeks get flushed/red like Mommy's!

Halloween 2015

Halloween with Spiderman and Mickey Mouse was so much fun! Cohen didn't seem to mind his costume much (which was great, 'cause it would have been so sad if he'd been crying in most of these pictures!) and Landon was really in character...posing, shooting his web, and showing us how tough "Spiderman" is! Big props go to Sean for carving the boys' pumpkins this year to match their costumes! I think we may have started a new tradition!

Team Iverson...too. cute.

It was Landon's turn to bring home "Pete the Cat" from school. We made him a Batman costume, and took him trick-or-treating with us. On Sunday, we printed some photos, and glued them into the Pete's journal to take back to school and share with his classmates!

A Day at Disney with Landon

Just after Landon's 4th birthday, we took a trip to Southern California and treated him to a "big boy" day at Disneyland with Mom & Dad. Big thanks to Grandma Donna & Auntie Nicole for watching Cohen, while we enjoyed a rare day with our oldest boy!

This was Landon's 2nd trip to Disneyland, and we were stoked because he was tall enough to ride the "big boy" rides, including the Lightning McQueen race car ride in Radiator Springs! He loved carrying the map, and telling us where to go next, was mostly patient in the lines (even the long ones), and lasted nearly all day. Sean and I tricked him onto Thunder Mountain Railroad by telling him it was a slow train ride...once we hit the first speedy turn he said "this is NOT a slow train", but he loved it! So much so, that he insisted on watching it go around and around after we rode it.

Happy 4th Birthday, Landon!

How on earth is it possible that our Landon is FOUR!? We celebrated his big day this year with a party at "Pump It Up", a jumpy-house extravaganza, topped off with pizza and cake. The best part -- no set up or clean up for this busy mama and dada...thanks, Pump It Up, for an easy, fun afternoon celebrating our big four year old boy!

Cohen's First Giants Game

On September 19th, Sean and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at AT&T park, cheering on the Giants! It was Cohen's first game, Landon's second. It was an unseasonably HOT day in the city: we wore shorts, slathered on the sunscreen, drank a ton of water, and hung as long as we could in the stands, before taking a stroll around the ballpark and checking out all of the fun activities they have for kiddos: slides, mini baseball, and more! The best part of the day had to be getting to hang out with Ali and Grady (who flew in from Boise for a special Mommy-Son weekend) and Auntie Becko, aka the Auntie with the coolest job ever! Becko treated us to tickets, club level access to beat the heat, and a bag full of Giants goodies & souvenirs! After the game, we got to check out the front office, where she works. All-in-all, it was an incredible day, with so many fun memories to cherish.
