Learning to Swim
Every Wednesday night, we take Landon to swim "lessons" at the Almaden Valley Athletic Club. It's a great facility, that runs tons of swim lessons for little ones as early as 6 months old. We know how much Landon loves the water (bath, pool, ocean, sink), so this was a natural first activity for him! Sean and I alternate getting in the pool with him. He loves to splash, play, and see his little friends. He, however, HATES it when we sing songs. I don't get it...he loves it when I sing to him at home, but for some reason, when all of the parents and his teacher sing songs together at the end of class, he loses it. It's a 12 week course, here's hoping by week 11 or 12 little man gets over his fear of happy, singing strangers.

40 In...40 Out!
Last Sunday was a pretty big milestone...Landon has been "out" as long as he was "in"!
Enjoy the latest additions to the LRG Weekly at the link below...I think you'll get a good laugh at how "creative" we've had to get in order to capture this weekly shot. Little LRG is a mover and a shaker these days....he doesn't sit still long, and when he does for us he quickly grabs the foam letters and tries to eat them!
This week, we gave him his favorite "toy" the remote control to distract him just enough to get this shot!

LPCH Summer Scamper
On Saturday June 23, Team Greenwood completed our first 5k (walk) together, the Summer Scamper at Stanford. It benefited the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the place where Landon was born! I have great appreciation and intense gratitude for the fantastic doctors and nurses that helped Landon enter the world, and took such good care of him in his first few days of life. We'll continue to support the hospital and all of the great work they do for children (and their mamas)! I even got a special race shirt designating me as an "Honoree" because I was a patient at the hospital! When Landon is old enough to walk it himself, he'll get one too!
